The icky skin sucks more on a vanity level, right? ;-)
In warmer humid months I use witch hazel (from drugstore) to keep the skin clean.
On my face every prescript
ion for normal "adult acne" burned and peeled. I'm now using Finacea (from a derma doc) for acne even though it's usually for rosacea: it's gentle enough and working. I use CeraVe night lotion (any drugstore) to moisturize and top everything off with Jojoba Oil (from Trader Joe's or other healthfood store). Skin is looking great after 6 weeks of this routine. If you go with Finacea it is expensive, with insurance it was still $60. Go to their website or look up Finacea Coupon, sign up for emails, and you get an instant coupon for $30 off your next 4 prescript
ions.
My thighs and back of arms developed keratosis pilaris (small white bumps) at the same time that the adult acne appeared in my late 20s. No amount of scrubbing gets rid of them for me. I'm trying Urea cream (40% concentration) but no luck so far. Please share any other good finds.
