Missing Coffee

I basically stopped drinking coffee a year ago after my initial symptoms started. Caffeine accelerated my symptoms, mainly the Vertigo and the feeling of passing out. I also have the lovely GI symptoms (nausea, cramping, bloating), so needless to say coffee and GI issues do not play well together.

I was not a Coffee addict, I just enjoyed (usually one a day) a high quality fresh ground "cup of Joe".

So, who else has found them self's in this situation? And Possibly found alternatives.

Oh my, YES!!! I miss my coffee!!!! Although I've not been without as long as you - I've only been without since May, but I loved having my 2 cups of 1/2 caff coffee a day. I just like the flavor too.

I use Pero - although I did have to work to make myself believe that I was still having coffee. It works better if I use a non-dairy creamer - but I still miss having my coffee flavor that way. I usually only add a tidbit of stevia.

I purchase the organic coffee, I purchase most of my food organic.

There is also organic Swiss Water Processed decaffeinated coffee (uses no chemicals & the coffee tastes great!)

Fresh Coffee Rosters on Amazon sells this in a mexican bean
(Or ground) and it is really tasty.

There is also a healthy, all natural instant drink called Dandy Blend on amazon.
It's delicious with soy, cow's, almond milk & mixes easily.
And it's good for you.
I LOVE it with soy & ice, like an iced latte.

Please be aware, if you are dealing with adrenal issues, then you shouldn't have any caffeine - which is my problem.

The only thing I miss now is coffee ice cream.

Coffee was making me so sick!

Once, my ex bf and I were in a hotel, but for some reason we had driven separate cars. I don't remember why.

Anyway, in the morning he tried to wake me up, and I was falling over like a rag doll. I was kind of throwing punches at him to keep me from waking me up. Narcoleptic-like symptoms, I guess.

He finally got me up and convinced me to drink a big cup of coffee.

It made me feel only worse. I just felt kind of hazy and dizzy.

I tried one more time about a year later, and I just felt sick.

So I can't miss it.

But coffee ice cream was my favorite kind of ice cream!!!

I have my coffee in the morning (I loveeeeeee coffee!) but I can't have caffeine in the evening so I found this herbal tasting coffee called Teeccino (it comes in different flavors) and I really like it! I drink the Hazelnut one:
