Has anyone been on Transfer Factor?

I took Transfer Factor for both immune and lyme for about
3 mos. My LLMD said she usually doesn't prescribe it long-term. I noticed very little change—but I had a lot of other craziness going on at the time, which may have affected effectiveness.
ETA:
And, I just remembered that after I had been taking both for about
a month my LLMD retested my CD57, and it remained the same (very low 36-or something).

Yep, since the day I was diagnosed. My daughter also. We get out of the habit of taking it, so it's sporadic sometimes.

Hi Bluebyyou
I just recently started taking transfer factor by Researched Nutritionals. It is Transfer Factor PlasMyc. I searched it and have found very positive feedback on this product. Used for many things, including Fibro, EBV, hormone balance and a multitude of other health issues!
We can keep each other posted on our experience!!
Be Well!!

Yes, because I don't know what else to do. Between that and the elderberry syrup, plus massive doses of C, it seems to help. I'm having fewer colds and viruses; used to have about
three a month, literally. Having said that, I think I'm about
to get the next cold, but they've slowed down.
Elaina, I think the one you're referring to is really expensive, isn't it?
My LLMD recommended it, though I'll have to look at my notes, but I'm running out of money, fast.

Hi Margaret,
Yes, the Transfer Factor is pricey. My LLMD charged $79.00. The bottle has 60 pills. However, I am only taking 2 pills/week. So the bottle will last quite a while.

Mine is Lymplus. It's the only one we've been on.

That's interesting that your LLMD only had you on it for 3 months. My LLMD said most people see results in 6-9 months. Elaina and I are taking the same kind :)
