There was a multi-layered post in this forum re this wonderful woman, Vanessa Farnsworth, who shared a video chronicling her lyme journey (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXcCXFdDi20) & wrote a book ("Rain on a Distant Roof"-I've not yet read)--and when I saw the video, I tried to search her out & find out her herbal cure route.

This amazing woman actually took the time to email me back! She said that when she was treated she was so very out of it that she put all her faith & healing in the hands of a natural doc, & did not even keep track or know what was used on her (maybe her Canadian healing doc has gone public?).

But she lived through this lyme hell, & goes out of her way to share her message with the public. And she is a testimony to getting through it & living to share. I am so very impressed that she took the time to respond to my email & wanted my fellow warriors to know!~jo

I saw her video several months back and thats when I really put my doubts that I have lyme to rest. She mèntions that she never had the early stages - flu like symptoms, fatigue - hers started with neurological symps - thats what happened with me. Evrytime I googled lyme disease, I would read "bullseye rash" - nope , "flulike symptoms" - nope, "fatigue" - nope .., then move on to other diseases like ALS and MS. My first symptoms were anxiety, depression, twitches, tremors, body vibrations - which can all be attributed to nervous system,

Its a great video and she is a smart, well spoken woman with a great memory - cognitively she has healed wonderfully!

Very interesting video—thanks for sharing. She cites quite a few statistics and projections for Canadians. I am going to forward to a couple Canadian friends of mine—hope the word gets out.

Magnotta foundation—
doing research in 2015 on Ontarior patients —not sure what the specific objective is, in general but the video suggests it might get to the root of autoimmune diseases that may all have the same root cause of lyme—perhaps this also includes MS, ALS, CFS, Fibro.

Thanks to Girlie's original post I just read the book "Rain on a distant Roof". I cannot recommend this book enough. I loved it for many reasons.

Although Vanessa is Canadian I recommend this book to anyone with Lyme Disease. She goes into amazing detail about the disease. It is well written and well researched. I learned so much from it.

Also, if you want a success story her story is amazing! I cannot begin to describe how terribly ill she was. She was passing out all over the place, was having hallucinations, couldn't speak properly, had mind blowing pain...you name it. I'm pretty sure she was on death's door. It took her 5 years to heal without antibiotics. If she could heal from the hell she was in, we all can.

I am happy to hear she emailed you happyjo. She really is wonderful. I think I will email her myself and let her know how much I appreciated her book. Thanks for posting.
