I have been reading the buhner website. His two main lyme herbs seem to be Japanese knotweed and cats claw. From what I can see he says cats claw ore boosts the immune and knotweed kills the lyme.
My llmd knows a lot about lyme herbs. He has a protocol list where the different treatment options are on there, and he checks the ones the patient takes. So it is the different abx and the herbals. ost of the buhner herbs are on his list ( cats claw, astragalus) as well as samento and banderol. And others.
So I wonder why my llmd does not use knotweed if in the buhner protocol it is the main herb?
I read that it can be a blood thinner. I am wondering if it has side effects?
I am going to wait on adding that till after I talk to my dr soon so I will be answered. But I am just curious if some of you have used it, and if you found it helpful, and if there are reasons why some may not recommend it? In one part of buhners site he said to someone who asked if they just did one herb for lye to do Japanese knotweed. And 2 would be that and cats claw.
