Utahgal - "I wonder which meds are best for this???"
- I've searched and searched for this answer. So far all I can come up with is lyme treatment + time. Drives me nuts.
Part of it seems to be a circulation problem stemming from the disrupted chemical ATP muscle rebuilding process, which is then "hijacked" by the bacteria. Its really a chemical electrical process, magnesium being the conductive "salt" across the cells. This is how mag supplements that end in "ate" make our muscles relax, nervous system too.
Then you have "hijacked" nerve fibers possibly sending mixed signals to muscles.
So It appears the best med is whatever kills the offending bacteria most effectively, which seems to differ amongst us.
I wish there was a magic pill for this.
For five years prior ABX I did a lot of "pressure " muscle work (Active release, + myofacial release)to keep the circulation going just to be able to move the next day, still do this.
That plus magnessium glycinate, arnica gell, and msm cream, and ibuprophen.
If I dont keep moving, I'm screwed. This just keeps me from locking up.
["Like you, astroman, my weakness is worse in the morning and gradually lessens in severity throughout the day."] - that is interesting.
