Discoverer of Lyme disease microbe, Willy Burgdorfer, dies at 82

"The Swiss-born Burgdorfer worked at the National Institute of Health’s Rocky Mountain Laboratory in Montana, when he isolated the Lyme spirochete in 1982.

His health had reportedly been failing in the past six months and he recently entered hospice care. LymeDisease.org received word today that he passed away this morning."

His story and life were amazing in Cure Unknown. He worked millions of hours, tirelessly and finally hit on all of this! Then got sick from it himself... or so they say. They treated him for it, but when the CDC investigated, all records were destroyed... odd, huh?... left him asking ... did I really have it or not? He was frustrated too, all his hard work. Garden Peace, you are right, I'm sure he would love to have seen great progress and unity in healing lyme patients. So sad.
