Were you cured and it came back ?- what would you do different?

Did you go off all treatment, think that why it came back?

You dont read about "maintenance" treatment, like maybe lighter amounts of hers instead of abx (which is not good long term and costly if insurance wont do it).

Affordable maintenance might be a good plan.


Or else start a lyme club and share a Rife machine with monthly dues- this would be a good idea for local lyme associations, I think I read about that idea last year.

Have you looked into some kind of strong herbal treatment? that is going to be my plan ( as I have posted on a lot of threads lately!). I had been on a mild herbal treatment when I went off abx for a month but it wasn't strong enough. So I will try either the chronic tonic or the buhner herbals and see how that works. So much of this is just trial and error- most of us don't know how to deal with this thing!
I am also going to meet with two people who got to the other side of it and to see what they did. I don' know that I was 100% cured when I stopped abx, I think now I was maybe at 85% or so and now I feel more like 75 or 80%, and am having tingling form the abx in my nerves on the left side which I really hate. ( That went away totally on my month off antibiotics). I hope the herbals work for me.

Our dr. said ADP Protocol for life, not sure it will work, but sure hope so, just posted about it on another thread here. Under "Dr thinks if cured under 5 years..."

I cant spell today.

In my post I meant "like maybe lighter amounts of HERBS instead of abx" .......for a "maintenance" plan.

I'm a long way from cured and still need to try some different ABX.

BUT, now is the time to make my "post lyme" plan.

I would hate to have invested all this time and money to just throw it out the window if lyme comes back from a cured point, (if my cured point will even happen).

I'm just starting to read up on the herbals. Thers got to be something a little more affordable than being on a full time lyme protocol for the rest of your life. Maybe rearrange just several herbs monthly? And tablets as opposed to liquid forms for ease of use and privacy / stealth at the work place..
