They call Houttuynia the fishy smelling herb, but honestly it's not fishy smelling at all.
You will only need to use 3 grams a day of the herb for the tea, so 20 ounces is 566.99 grams, let's call it 567 grams for the sake of this discussion. By using 3 grams a day, that would give you 189 days of treatment - or roughly just a little more than 6 months of treatment.
For capsules, it's all in how much you pack into a capsule. I use size "0" capsules and get 500 mgs of ginger, 500 mgs of turmeric and other finely powdered herbs into each capsule all the time, but I pack them pretty good to get it done. I take a ton of pills each day, so I don't have any desire to have to increase the number of them or the size of them, it's worth it to me to take the extra time to pack them good!
The scale I use is exactly like this one:
goo.gl/ZXTFfY and this one is $3 cheaper than what I paid for mine.
I only talk about
using Houttuynia as a tea since that's how I used it and was successful in beating a very long term Bart infection with it, when combined with the Chronic Tonic herbs I used to treat my long held Lyme infection. I know that others use the capsules of Houttuynia, but I have no experience with them.
