Just curious what Lyme diet has worked best for everyone. There is some contradictory info out there.
Wondering if I should be cutting out any of the below, OR if there is stuff that's OK that I could add. I'm kinda getting sick of the same foods.
I'm currently doing:
- no dairy, no gluten, no soy, no alcohol, no sugar (not even honey or maple syrup. xylitol and stevia are ok in moderation)
- grains: just brown rice and quinoa
- any veggie, BUT i eat potatoes and other starch based stuff sparingly
- fruit - JUST green apples and berries (and avocados - TONS of avocados)
- meat - really anything as long as it is organic, red meat included. only wild caught fish. NO tuna.
- nuts/seeds - all would be OK, but i'm allergic so i only eat seed butters and stuff like that. I eat LOTS of seeds.
- oils - JUST coconut and extra virgin olive
- my cheats: small cups of coffee and the occasional square or two of dark chocolate
Anyway, anything on here that hindered your healing? AND…anything I can add?
