Herbs/Antibiotics for Intracellular Infections

Whats the best stuff to use against intracellular pathogens? I believe that is what is causing my autoimmune issues after many years with lyme. i've heard quinalones are good like factive and plaquenil. My insurance won't cover factive so I may try plaquenil.


Are there any other good options?


A book i'm reading recommends doxycycline (allergic, so substitute with minocycline 100mg bid), rifampin 300 mg BID, plaquenil 200mg BID, zithromax 250mg BID, and Nystatin 500,000u 2 PO BID/TID.

Anyone try anything similar?

po= by mouth

I heard far infrared saunas help get toxins from inside the cell, to outside. Mayb it will get the buggies out too.

I used berberine and that is supposed to be good for intracellular infections. It is a pretty strong herbal antibiotic though. I used energetix brand which I believe has multiple constituents in it - always a plus. Worth looking into.
