I got my gram scale for the houttuynia. So I measured out 1.5 grams for three cups of water and will drink one cup three times a day until I get used to it, then go to three grams for three cups of water.

Turns out the 1.5 grams per three is about what I have been using so far.
I decided to plow ahead with the houttuynia. wish me luck!

And also my scale does measure ounces so when I get my bulk herbs for the "chronic tonic" I can measure appropriate ounce proportions.

Okay- so feeling a little more under control ( probably it is the valium). honestly I am not a valium used or anything in regular life-- it has only been since lyem panic and anxiety that they have become such an ally to me. Still, I feel no shame in using them as I struggle through this! Whatever helps.

Well, I'm so glad that you have the scale and have seen that you were close to what you should have been using!!

Of course, I wish you the best luck in beating this infection!!!

And I feel the same way as you do, we need to use some meds as crutches to help support our body as we heal. As long as they are used for short term only, I don't feel there is really any harm.

Good. The Houtuynia tea took my body pain away. I used to wake up sore on my lower back and left abdomen. After the H. tea, not anymore...
