This is the sauna I purchased. I know it's near and not far IR, but I was concerned about EMFs as well. As far as I could tell from research, the low EMF emitting far IR saunas do not heat as well as the high EMF emitters, and I was also concerned about sitting too close to an emitter.
Anyway, I opted for a near IR, that I purchased here a year or so ago:

Read the science links - good info about NASA near IR research.
Michael, the guy that builds them, is really good and will answer any questions you have. I originally purchased it for our daughter when she was 11. When I told Michael this he cautioned me about her using it until she had matured enough to sweat properly. So as a result I put it in storage for a bit. I just got the one with the wooden frame and the knock-out reflective panels. It was about $1100.
So as of today, it is up and going. Yay! It took me 25 minutes to break a sweat and then I stayed in for an extra 5 minutes, then ran and stood outside for a bit. No snow, but it is about -10 C out tonight.
I'm not a heavy sweater, I don't even sweat much when I row and I know I need to sweat more. This does the job.
Sorry I don't have much information on far IR, but I spent so much time remediating our house for EMFs/RF that I will be darned if I will irradiate myself on purpose.
There is this one too:

but I wanted a dedicated sauna.
