Biaxin and doxycycline and plaquenil combo work for anyone?

Anyone ever have doxy and biaxin prescribed with plaquenil? I've been on Doxy 100 mg bid for 4 months - I'm still having lots of joint and muscle pain and asked my doc to try biaxin and plaquenil. She wants me to stay on doxy but I think I need a change, or at least an increased dose. Plaquenil is supposed to be contraindicated with histamine issues - so that means I have to really watch my diet even more than usual. But I'm willing to try if it seems to work.

I'm also on byron white's AL solution which has artemisia among other herbs.

Still having migrating joint pain, fingers swell, temperature sensitivity, hair falling out, left arm weak and hurting awful past month.

I heard biaxin is good for lyme arthritis. I do have multiple med sensitivities and GI sensitive - I can't take pain killers.

I did it except it wasn't doxy it was tetra. It was a diabolical combo. I lasted for a week but the herx was scary. I'm sure it works but I would be careful it you don't know what kind of infectious load you're carrying. Id say I'm 90% now after cycling tetra/amantadene and biaxin/plaq for 1.5 years. I actually stopped abx for a few weeks recently and felt fine but doc changed his mind being cautious... im on 2000mg of tetra a day and 400mg amantadine and am rapidly improving. I started with CNS involvement and a very wide range of symptoms.I definitely suggest these combos with a very stick diet and herbal support. I'm going to be attempting the trifecta again soon since I am probably going to be able to handle it this time around.
