So apparently I'm a good host for babies...so I keep getting told.
My stubborn little bugger is still not out at 42 weeks. I've been healthy, been exercising, no signs of lyme - although man going from 95 lbs to 143lbs is starting to kill my knees! Please send positive thoughts my way!
No one except my lyme fellows and fellas seem to understand my extreme apprehension about
having to go to a hospital for anything and having to put my care in a doctors hands that I've never met. Not to mention, the drugs they are going to give me. I know, it is much better to be going to a hospital for having a baby then lyme, and this dr works with the birth center so he is more 'natural' friendly.
I promise I'll be thinking of all of you while I'm in there! I got through lyme so I'm sure I can get through this. I did have an inquisitive nurse ask me about
the igenex kit and lyme so who knows..maybe I'll have a super easy birth and I can tell them compared to lyme having your hoo haa torn apart is a piece of cake lol. (wishful thinking).

Good luck Opugirl!! You will do fine - after all you are a Lyme Warrior.
I had a C-section so I can't speak about
the hoo haa being torn apart...lol.

Stay positive and relaxed - things I've learned from having two hard births. You'll do wonderful though!!! I know you will - and you can distract yourself by telling the horror stories from here and your own! LOL!
Tons of good wishes, positive thoughts, good vibes, toes and fingers crossed (makes it hard to walk, but what the heck!)
Even pregnant, I bet you could whoop those doc's butts! And in labor, you'll whoop them into shape!! LOL! Keep 'em honest and on their toes - if for no other reason than it will be entertaining!!
And you have to promise to share a picture of the little one!!!
Many, many hugs!!!

You are a good host! LOL. My best wishes for a smooth delivery. I'm hoping he will start things on his own before you go, though. :) It sounds like you'll have a decent doctor, so don't worry about
that.
I'm so excited for you and look forward to hearing how things went once you get some good rest and settle into your new life.

WOWEE! What a big event!!! I didn't even know you were pregnant. I guess I haven't been following very well.
Just be present to pain or whatever is going on, but try not to actually go into it, or focus on it too much. Do lots of deep abdominal breathing.
Of course, I've never had a baby, so who am I to say. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Margaret

Having some relaxing music really helps. Doing a mantra when the pain is intense helps too, but you probably won't see this before you go in. I never did scream or curse my husband, just squeezed his hand off.
