Not Just Lyme?

Yeah, I've seen that poster around, bumping old threads to promote their website. I think it's very fishy---not true at all. Only Lyme antibodies can cause positive Lyme tests. Don't worry about them.

Actually I too noticed it, but I have no desire to be the one "running" this forum, telling people that they can't post here. We should always watch for mistakes and double check all of the information we get - even if the person does know what they are talking about or has some good information. I actually hope that everyone double checks any information that I give too!! We are all just human with our own insights, experiences, and opinions and can be wrong on any one of them. We already know that there is not one protocol that will help all of us!

Of course, the only way for Lyme specific bands to be positive is for one or more of the 4 - 5 strains of Lyme that are currently tested for to be in your body. Period. End of story. A cold or flu is viral, not bacterial, so it wouldn't be what converted a negative test into a positive test.
