See if your Dr will approve IM Rocephin instead. There have been studies done comparing IM vs IV rocephin effectiveness and they are pretty close. Do a google search and read some articles.
Also there are ways to greatly reduce the cost of IV Rocephin. Some folks actually get a script
for IM Rocephin and mix their own IV. Read the booklet "Infusion for Lymies" for more information. Getting supplies varies state by state.
Also there are a handful of states where they have laws that require insurance companies to cover Lyme related Rx as long as the Dr precribes. Maybe change an address to work the system.
