I want to crawl out of my skin!

Does anyone else always have that feeling like all your nerves are being aggitated? Its such an uncomfortable thing. I try to take warm baths to calm everything, and it dies help, for a short time. Constant tingling, shivers, always cold. When it get really bad my thighs feel like they are burning, but im cold at the same time. The only real pain i have is nerve pain and burning. Please someone tell me im not going out of my mind!

Yes, I have nerve problems - big time! And it definitely feels like my nerves are agitated/irritated.

I get shivers, but sometimes I'm not even cold when I get them. I also have nerve pain - upper back - left side, as well as my left arm, hand, and a numb finger.

I also get this kind of vibration in my body - hard to explain - but they are different than the shivers.

It's horrid. and I feel like a nut-bar when I try to explain it to someone that doesn't have lyme disease.

I do have other pain too. My knee joints are stiff and hurting. So are my finger joints.

tailbone pain isn't fun, either.

Oh it sucks to be me, that's for sure!

I used to have the jerking - it actually started to subside even before i went on the antibiotics for lyme. It was happening when my muscle twitches were at their worse.

I would go to bed, and would lie there...muscles twitching - arms, back, legs, and then my leg would jerk, and all the while my body would have this internal buzzing.
I would think to myself - "Is this really happening to me? *** is wrong with me? I'm surely going to die from what ever this is".
I would finally fall asleep, to be woken two hours later, gasping for air, heart racing, and sweating from a hot flash.

I am so thankful that I can go to bed without the twitching and jerks...but I do still have some internal buzzing. I have wake-ups during the night, but I'm no longer gasping for air/heart racing. Just have the hotflashes.
