Which co infection is most likely to have respiratory symptoms?

I'm sure I've asked this before; might as well ask again.

So, which co infection is most likely to act like a BADA-S cold, one that keeps reappearing over, and over, and over, and over . . . again?

Wondering if it really is my IGs causing these respiratory viruses, or something else?

Nobody seems to have an answer.

Does any one co infection include more respiratory symptoms than any other?

I really do need help on this one, as in, I just felt my own desperation as I wrote this sentence.

Do you think so? I had numerous episodes of Mycoplasma pneumonia when I was in grad. school, which was about 20 (!) years ago.

Yet, when my first LLMD tested me for it, the test was negative.

I think my current treatments cover Mycoplasma, but it's going to take me a long time to get up to the full strength of all my herbs and abx.

Anyone else have different or similar opinions?

I think Cryptolepsis treats Myco doesn't it? I've been putting three drops of that in my nasal rinse; tonight, I upped it to five.

I need to talk to my LLMD yet again, or at least start a running list.

Other ideas?

Maybe chlamydia pneumonia?

It could be yeast. It can cause nasal congestion. If it improves with Nystatin, Difulcan, Apple Cider Vinegar or other antifungals, it might be yeast. I frequently have nasal congestion and a runny nose. I also sneeze at times. Apple Cider Vinegar and Nystatin seem to help me.

My LLMD just mentioned the possibility of MARCONS. I need to look this up.

Another possibility would be histamine issues (possible mast cell issue). I also suspect I might have histamine issues. I think certain foods may trigger or aggravate my nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, as well as some of my skin symptoms. Lyme and co can cause this.

Of course, it could be a co-infection as well.

While I'm sure I have issues with yeast as well as with mold, I have the feeling Mister Mike might be on target with my issues, esp. since I have a prior history of Myco. Pneumonia.

Mister Mike, do your issues come and go in flares? I guess I'd better order some Sida Acuta to add it to my Cryptolepsis nasal rinse.

I have an idea why your rinse/spray might hurt. Do you use saline? Any time you do or use a nasal spray, you should add one of those little packets of saline (i.e. salt/baking soda) that is normally used for DIY nasal sprays, i.e. Dr.Neil, I think is the company? I don't know think that's part of the Buhner "recipe," but I had a naturopath who told me I could add Goldenseal drops to my saline rinse, so I assume it can work the same way.

Can you tell me how many drops of each you add to your nasal rinse? Do you also gargle with it? How many times a day do you use it?

Sorry for all the questions, but how do you treat your lung issues?

I will see if I can (hopefully) download the book. I know it's a fairly recent book (?), so I hope it isn't expensive!

I tried the Lomatium formula Buhner recommended for respiratory viruses and infections, and I think it may have helped, but it also seems to have given me diarrhea, so I need to stop. I know I can add Lomatium to my nasal rinse, since I did it last night, and my nose is less congested, but not sure about Red Root, Licorice, and Isatis. I imagine Red Root would be ok, since the tea can be used as an enema.

What is the protocol for Chlamydia P?

Just quickly, my post nasal drip usually gets much better after I do the saline rinse with the goldenseal or cryptolepsis drops.

I do hope you will add a saline solution (saline and water) to your tinctures before you use the spray.

FYI: I just checked my kindle copy of herbal abx, and Buhner explains how to make the solution. He suggests using 5 drops (!!!) of each tincture, combining them in a one ounce nasal spray bottle, adding enough water to make one ounce, and replacing the cap and then spraying into the nostrils.

He does not say to use saline, but bc of the ph of your nose, it won't burn if you use saline.

Julie doesn't always get it right; sorry, but that's the experience I've had with her.
