Georgia Hunter, can you explain how you know what wildmoonchild is dealing with and why it isn't something else? How could you possibly know this? You aren't her doctor, nor have you seen any of her labs. Telling people that you know what it is and it isn't this or that in this manner is not acceptable on this forum.
There appears to be two separate smells in this thread and I haven't said either of the people posted have anything. I stated that a CBS C699T mutation can cause a problem when too much sulfur is ingested and that too much putrescine can also cause an odor. I've had both of these issues and they are very distinct. I gave quick, abbreviated versions of what may correct the issues. I know what I had and what helped me, who knows what the two posters have. What I have done over time is look through the posts on the forum and I often see things talked about
and mentioned that I don't know anything about
. I then study those things to learn about
them and see if that applies to me. If it does, great, it may help. If if doesn't apply to me, than I just learned something that I didn't know. It's really helped me get better since my physician was forced by my insurance company to quit treating me.
My recommendations were to reduce meat intake, drink green tea, and if someone has a CBS 699T mutation, eat less sulfur. I apologize if those were over the line.
