Traveler... I'm not saying it is easy to get every last spirochete and there is no test to prove that you got every last one. PCR, cell cultures, they may all come back negative, and there might just be one weak spirochete lurking in a tendon. Maybe some people don't get every last spirochete, I know i haven't yet and I have been taking antibiotics for 1 year and 4 months now. I could be wrong but I still choose to think that way. The test to me is your symptoms, response to treatment, and how long you have had no symptoms.

I realize it's very debatable, but there are people who claim to have done it. I know you are going to argue what if it got into the cartilage and medications have poor penetration of cartilage! Well I say keep treating until they starve inside the cartilage and die!! It has poor circulation so it also has limited nutrients! The spirochetes likely don't thrive in those areas... Same goes with tendons. They are found in those areas and only as individual Spirochetes as far as I know so far.
