I was in the same boat anxiety wise, mainly about my heart, it had been steady and slow prior and all of the sudden it was all over the place and skipping all the time.
As soon as I realized what anxiety was doing to my life I said screw it, I just stopped caring (earsier said than done), slowly started exercising again. Once you realize how much of a role anxiety plays, only then can you beat it.
Looking back I can't believe I lived a whole 2 months like that, it's what really let Lyme take over, and I never would be where I am now if I still had the anxiety. I can't imagine people who anxiety there whole life. I never would have been able to sympathies with them.
My resting HR is low now, it's crazy what a difference no anxiety makes on your health. It would be hard to beat any illness with as bad if anxiety as I had. It took time but I'm on my longest streak without a panic attack or general anxiety. It's really made a difference.
