Lyme - No Swelling

Hello. I was wondering if someone could answer this question. Can someone have Lyme disease without ever having joint swelling?

Well I hope so - otherwise I've been misdiagnosed. I don't have, never had joint swelling. I do have some joint pain...but never any swelling.

I'd get more sympathy if there was the swelling to go with this debilitating joint pain. Nope, no swelling here either.

I have Lyme without joint swelling. Infectious Disease (Canada) told me that I couldn't have Lyme because my joints weren't swollen, but they don't seem to know anything about Lyme. I asked Dr R about this and he said yes you can have Lyme without swollen joints.

I never had any joint swelling, either.
