Stomach Issues

Hello. Can someone tell me if Lyme can cause stomach issues? I specifically been having issues where I wake up in the middle of the night with intense stomach pains/cramps, diarrhea, hunger pains without actually being hungry, and insomnia.

Yep, I've heard of lyme (and co infections) causing almost any stomach issue possible. Not everyone does, but I've heard of many, myself included. When I first got sick and didn't know it was lyme, I spent months and months going to gastroenterologists and having stomach tests. Everything was always "normal"...little did I know it was Lyme :)

I also have stomach issues. I have heard lyme can cause stomach problems but because I have always suffered with some sort of stomach issues I just thought I had IBS. For years I had gas that would not stop. It is a little better now but still suffer with constipation. Then I take stuff for it and then I have diarrhea. I am never without an issue. It makes me so jealous. My husband is so regular. No matter where he is. He gets the urge and just goes. I have been taking oxy powder by GHC. It helps a lot. But I will get days where I have diarrhea and cant leave the house until it is out of my system. If I go on vacation it is a problem. I suffer with C & D. What a pain in the A. LOL
