HELP.. I need help understanding my igenex test results!!

Please HELP!!
I've had symptoms for years and even was told I had lupus and chronic Epstein Barr!! I just got the igenex test and the dr. Told me it wad positive with coinfections....i asked to have my results mailed to me from igenex!! Could anyone help me to interpret if it's really lyme?? Thank you so much!!

Igenex igm = IND

18 kda= +
**23-25 kda= IND
28 kda = -
30 kda = -
**31 kda= ++
**34 kda = IND
**39 kda = IND
**41 kda = ++
45 kda = -
58 kda = -
66 kda = -
**83-93 kda = IND

THANK YOU...any input would be greatly appreciated....I've had symptoms for years and I've become extremely sensitive to light sound and smell, migraines, joint pains , swollen lymph nodes, daily heart palpitations etc,

oh and the igg = neg

with only band 39 = IND
and 41 = ++
and 58 = +

I really want a better understanding because the only doctor in this area that would treat me (6 hours away) charges $400 hour and doesn't take insurance ! I have been sick for years with hashimoto's and numerous other problems including Epstein Barr, chronic pain and sleeplessness, complete brain fog, joint pain and painful enlarged lymph nodes and I am 37 years old. I really do think it is lyme because not only did I grow up in upstate n.y. , I came off the Appalachian trail in 2005 with allot of ticks all over me. I would love to treat this naturally, and not spend money I don't have, but I just want to make sure that it is what I have!! Please let me know what you think..... Thank you so much :)

Your Igenex IgM is sooo close to my husband's, and he is Igenex IND as well.

Because the only two double-starred bands were 31 and 41 our Dr. asked if we wanted to do another test on the 31 to see if it was indeed a positive. They said because 31 can be positives due to viruses.

We said 'yes' to the extra test.

But, having said that, LLMD's will clinically diagnose whether or not you have lyme disease - a positive Western Blot is not necessary - the Dr. will look at your history, your symptoms, etc. and will decide what is the best treatment for you.

Have you found a LLMD yet?

Thank you Girlie, yes I did find one up in Boulder. He told me because of my symptoms and my results that I am definitely positive with co-infections. I just was unsure what to do because he charges $400 hour and doesn't take insurance. I already had two Lyme tests and the first one came up positive but through another lab. I've been sick ALLOT , to the point it makes work very hard for me, and I work in a hospital. I cant even stand the smells or bright lights anymore, and I find that I forget my rice on the stove and burn it ALL the time!! If you know of any docs please let me know... I might be moving for a bit back with my family out in central N.Y. Thank you :)

winterloki - We can help you find another LLMD. But, you will need to enable your email option, so forum members can email you the information. We aren't permitted to post LLMD's names on here.

It certainly sounds like you could have Lyme and co's.

If you want to find one in central N.Y. start a new thread, titled: "Looking for LLMD in central NY"

So, to enable your email, go to "My Profile" (scroll up, left hand side in blue bar), then click on "edit profile", then scroll down to "enable email".

Hi Winter,

I was diagnosed with Lupus about 8 years ago. I never felt the diagnosis was correct. I've known something was not right. That's when I started investigating and, by the grace of God, was given my answer.

I believe you have Lyme based on your results and story of the bites. You def need to find a Dr. who will treat you. I have been in treatment now for almost a year and I can tell you that I have never felt this well while I was treating for Lupus.

With that being said, hopefully, you're going to get better and gain your strength back once you get on a good protocol. Please look into Buhner, Cowden, and other natural protocols while you wait to see the Dr. And, it's a good idea to start detoxing. Today, if you can. Lastly, read the "New to Lyme" thread on top. Thank you very much!! I know this is what I have and for who knows how long so now I have to start my journey to heal!! I am glad there are boards like these to talk to other people who understands!!
