I'm overdue, too. I'm just not going there now.
Are they still recommended yearly in the U.S.?
Here it's every two years.
I've been seeing a lot about mammograms and the health risks. Apparently the 'experts' are now saying that even if there is a small lump, that sometimes a watch and wait approach is better than doing a biopsy right away.
A lot of radiation with the mammograms.
I would shell out 875$ for an mri every few years...if I knew it was as good or better. I know for most things MRI's are better, but not all.
Does anyone know about MRI's are good for detecting small lumps in breasts?
