I had my first appointment today and he looked at the first page of results and said, "You have Lyme." I thought he was going to fall out of his chair when he saw my cd57 at 25. He was so so kind. Even gave me fist bumps when he realized I had been trying to read and learn on my own. Lol.

I thought maybe an antibiotic or two to start. Six different things. Holy crap! I am glad i brought my little spy recorder thingy. I am so tired. I thought the drive alone wore me out but having confirmation has seemed to give me permission to say I am exhausted. I may reply more later. I think I just realized I am over whelmed.

I laughed earlier thinking i was relieved. I am sitting here frustrated now because I am feeling angry.

Congratualtions!! Remember to start all things very, very slowly and no more than one thing at a time.

But first give yourself some time to recover from your trip. This may take a day or more, but you will be glad you didn't try to start things too fast!

Looking forward to hearing more about your appt when you are up to it!!

Cajuncootie - I know exactly what you mean about feeling relief and anger and a mixture of all sorts of things inbetween. I had a positive test result a few days ago, so that's exactly how I feel at the moment. But, most of all, I'm starting to feel empowered, as I'm sure knowing our enemy is better than not.
