....just saw a tweet from gma that April lavigne has lyme disease

I wondered about her. I had read in a magazine a few months back that she was taking a break to deal with her health, everyone assumed something like rehab but I kept thinking about lyme. Of course because I have it and it seems to consume most of my life nowadays, I think every little issue is lyme, lol.

I wish her a speedy recovery!

I feel so sorry for her, but hopefully more stories about celebrities having Lyme and all it's horrors will help spread awareness. The good news is that she's getting better.

I couldn't believe when the article I read said according to the CDC 25,000 people were diagnosed in 2013. I thought the number was 10 times that?

Guys, the best we can do is provide our comments in the comments section to set the record straight and provide valid info to educate. I have done that in the past on articles regarding Yolanda Foster, mostly because of ignorant remarks toward her.

How fantastic that she shared her story, hopefully more celebs will come forward and get this train rolling!

She says she's 80% better already - I wonder what protocol she used? that's a pretty quick recovery - since October - since she had it for several months.
