I'm in a private sort of Lyme comedy group on Facebook and a few of the members have had a lot of success with apitherapy or bee venom where you get stung by bees. I know this was a recent topic but I'm bringing it back up because one the members just told her story about how she went from being bedridden to now being able to work. She had an immediate positive result from the very first bee sting. It seems that it is strong enough to kill the American strain of Lyme as well as co-infections as it punches holes in biofilm killing the infections. Thanks, ToddPaul, I posted something a few weeks ago about a woman getting stung by a swarm of bees and she was allergic but she discovered it killed her Lyme. She was waiting for it to kill her.

I have a friend who does it for arthritis and quit her meds.

Two things....

A Facebook COMEDY group?! How fun, someday when I join Facebook id like to be a part of that group....

Also, I know a guy who manages his "ms" symptoms with this therapy... He gets it done a few times a year... He's a doctor btw....

Now, lets not kill the bees, huh? Strangely enough, my son kept running after bees last year. He didn't get stung, but he could have. He was really looking for it and I kept telling him to leave the bees alone. Maybe he knew he was sick and was looking for his cure!

FYI, Dr. K uses the venom therapies from bees that are raised for this purpose. I really hope that we won't be left without bees because everyone runs out to get stung. I wish that we could benefit from the venom and get stung without them having to die, but no such luck. I don't know, I for one... I am not going to convict the bees to death--I just can't do it. I admire them as a creation of God and I think they have the same rights to be here as we do. It is one thing to get stung by a bee and cure, but quite another to follow them and cause them to sting you die. Dr. K uses this in conjunction with other things. I think it would require all the bees in the world to cure all of us and maybe all the bees in the world won't even be enough for a cure.

I had a nasty sting from a wasp/yellow jacket (I think) a month before my Lyme infection last summer--I had a 8-9" diameter hot spot on my leg for at least 10 days. Too bad it didn't provide me with some immunity to the tick! :)

iv read about this before, idk if its true or not, I also read somewhere that taking the supplement bee pollen with food or in a drink could help with lyme, but i am afraid to try being allergic to pollen idk how that works with my allergies. Has anyone else heard about natural bee pollen from a bee keeper as a killer for lyme?

I've tried bee pollen and have tree pollen allergies and was fine with it but it's not going to kill Lyme unfortunately. Bee venom has certain substances in it such as melittin that pokes holes in biofilm and can kill Lyme and other infections. It seems so radical to sting yourself with live bees but people are doing it and getting great results from it. The person in charge of the FB group claims that not all of the bees actually die after stinging. Her claim is 50% but not sure how true that is.

instead of getting stung by bees, can you just purchase bee venom? has anyone researched if that would work taking it somehow?

Toby just started Brazilian Green Bee Propolis. Anyone else taking this supplement? If so, can you share your experiences with it.

It does work and takes pain away depending on how severe it is--it may not take all of it. Also, it seems that staying on it works better for us and prevents pain, rather than taking it once in a while. The liquid form is more readily absorbed than pills.

Myeezy24- You may be able to get it in injected but don't know if it would be potent enough plus it would be a lot more money to do it that way. I know ingesting it does nothing as the enzymes in your stomach destroy it rendering it completely ineffective. Getting stung is really the only way to go about doing it.
