Dr. Oz: Supposedly Doing a Segment on Lyme Disease?!

I thought this is REALLY awesome if it is the truth.

DR. OZ will be doing a segment on Lyme Disease and the Lyme Disease challenge! The segment taped today and will air on Thursday! While we recognize we will probably not get all the facts to go our way, we worked frantically, late into the night to give it our best shot. Dr. Oz has done a PSA on Lyme for TBDA in the past and has been a friend to the Lyme community. It is our understanding that they will also promote the challenge on social media! This is BIG. BIGGER than BIG. This very well could tip us into UBER viral.

Once we get a link for the show we will want you to share widely. For now, lets just keep this here. I just could not wait to tell you guys!!! So give a little squeal and do a little dance! Working together we are doing GREAT things to spread awareness!!!

Interesting backstory - someone challenged Dr. Oz in a restaurant in early March and took a picture and video. They have the picture, but not the video. It is a big mystery who challenged him!

I think its great Dr Oz is doing a segment on Lyme disease. He has a lot of followers and hopefully he can help get the message out there.

Thurs. 10 and 2. One's on Aging and one's about Hollywood Headlines. I'll try to
check further. Yes. The more publicity, the better. I hope they talk about
Chronic Lyme too
and don't give just the CDC/use antibiotics for 6 weeks
and you're cured/version.

I was disappointed in the Oz segment. Thought it would go more in depth with it. He needs an entire episode, not just a segment.

It wasn't as bad as it could have been. He could have just read off the CDCs criteria for everything. But it wasn't very in depth at all.

I watched the taped Dr Oz show from this morning and was so disappointed. He didn't give much information and just zipped right through it so quickly. Although the other doctor went into more detail and I thought it was good that Oz said he could fill up more than just 1 screen with lists of symptoms for LD.

He might need to be careful not to stir things up too much ??

Sorry Garden, but I have to agree with Sueg, although it's true that they have time constraints.
