Chris,
I wouldn't discount your early symptoms. I've had all those symptoms at some time or another and some are still with me. It also seems like many people on this forum also have some if not all of the symptoms.
I asked about the headaches because that was my first symptom. At the time, we thought it was the fluorescent lights in the place I was working but they continued on after I went off to college.
At this time I think Target must lay their flooring directly on a concrete floor. I have had this happen outside on a sidewalk. I have found that when I go into Target I have to consciously make sure that I pick my feet up. That seems to work, but it is a problem I have to be aware of.
It definitely is a balance issue (whatever the cause) because I can't judge distances. I walk into walls all the time. I also occasionally just fall over for no reason at all.
Sarah, thanks. I'm still very new to this and a lot of the places you read about Lyme (chronic and late stage) give a list of symptoms and they differentiate "when" the symptoms occur. It makes sense that everyone would have a different set of symptoms. Symptoms would depend on where and when the Lyme travels.
Thanks.
