Can fluorescent lights induce symptoms?

Long story shortened.... Bit in 1993 and finally properly diagnosed in late 2006. I was on abx four years and my symptoms started to ease. I've managed to keep everything in remission with the exception of a flare here and there. I've worked part time at a performing arts center since 2009 due to the flexible hours and ease of getting time off anytime I felt drained.

In October I left the theater and started a full time job. I thought I could handle it since my symptoms have been very manageable. The hours are exhausting. I get up at 5:45 to get to work and I work 7:30 - 5. My body isn't happy with early wake up time. I thought I would adjust but so far I just stay exhausted.

Our office has hanging fluorescent lighting. The lights run the length of the building and reflect off the white ceiling tiles. Suddenly my symptoms have returned and I'm having vision issues, brain fog, and headaches. I need this job but not sure I can stay there if it costs me my health. Can the fluorescent lighting be triggering my symptoms?

My daughter can't go in the big box stores, because of the lighting. Some are sensitive to EMF, so you could check that with a meter and compare it to where you worked before to see how much difference there is. It could just be the change in the time you get up, especially if you're losing sleep every day. Working full time and not being able to stay home and rest when you need to could be the problem too. I hope you find out what is causing it soon.

The flickering affects many people and I think that's what bothers my daughter.
