After not writing here for a while, I'm happy to report that after weeks and weeks of stomach issues, my LLPA put me on a new probiotic, and that stuff is miraculous. I was back to normal instantly, and have remained so. We are still unclear whether I had C Diff (treated with Flagyl just in case, but it never completely got rid of my symptoms), or if the Lyme boogers have begun to affect my digestive system. IF this probiotic hadn't worked, the next step would have been a scope-- so thankfully, I no longer need to head that direction unless my tummy takes a turn again. We are planning on retrying antibiotic treatment on the 27th, with a few tweaks, and at much lower doses to start.... and if my tummy can't handle it, we will start talking about
herbal protocols. In the meantime, I've been detoxing and was doing magnesium/ Myer's drips once a week-- taking a little bit of break from those, as they are pricey-- but they sure did help with energy and muscle pain.
This is such a freakin' long haul. Sigh.

Have you tried eating probiotic rich foods such as live sauerkraut, kimchi and Kombucha? I can't have dairy so the kefir and yogurt don't work for me. My husband and I both started eating and now making fermented foods and it helped a ton. We also eat a lot of coconut oil which has helped his digestion. He makes an almond milk and coconut oil hot cocoa that is to die for while being sugar and dairy free.
I'm not familiar with Myer's drips but I am doing Magnesium, luckily my insurance covers the mag. It's really amazing for the muscle pain, I love it! What is the Myers?
I'm glad to hear that your stomach issues are doing better.
This is a long haul...

Can I ask what probiotic worked so well for you? I'm the curious kind.

You're doing great! I like to think of Dory from Finding Nemo - "just keep swimming, just keep swimming..." :)
Please keep us posted!

That's good you found a healthy solution to your stomach problems. Hopefully that will continue to help you.
I'm also curious about
the probiotic you took.

oh, and the Myers Drip is magnesium and calcium and B vitamins... very often vitamin C is also included, but not where I go. :)

Wildlyme,
I take the same exact one from Custom Probiotics. Their products are extremely high quality.
