I've been re-evaluating my tincture protocol, and it turns out that fresh houttuynia makes a better tincture than dried houttuynia. So, I've been trying to find a source for either fresh houttuynia or houttuynia sees so I can grow some. And I've struck out so far.

My backup plan is to make decoctions from the dried houttuynia I have and use that instead.

I've seen on Amazon where you can buy the live plant and on Ebay you can get the seeds, but I used a decoction (medicinal tea) with the Houttuynia that I used. The taste reminds me of the cut black tea that many use to make iced tea, actually.
