I think it is very likely Babesia. I get palpitations and chest pains too. Did you see a cardiologist or just go the ER? If you have not see a cardiologist, you might think about
it. I had an EKG, stress test, holter monitor and a bunch of pictures followed by a consult.
The Bactrim and Azithroymycin should make for a good combo to treat Babs. I have not tried Mepron. I understand it is expensive. I'm wondering if I should get retested for Babesia through a better lab so that Mepron would be covered. I have no guarantee that I will test positive though.
I have tried Bactrim DS. It was stirring things up, but not helping (at least yet). So, we put it on the back burner for right now. I'm taking Artemisinin, which seems to be helping with my chest pain. However, it should be taken under the supervision of an LLMD since it can cause liver and other toxicity issues. I have to get my blood drawn every 4-6 weeks. I understand that Art is a little more complicated that the average herb since it can also build resistance if not taken with supportive medications. Anyway, I find that it seems to be helping. I'm happy so far with it. I wonder if I will need more to beat it since I have heard Babs is not easy. I might add Cryptolepis (and other Buhner herbs) sometime. I have to other some other stuff first. I will discuss it with my doctor next time.
As for the Byron White, I think that Forrest Health sells it, but it seems pricier than what my LLMD charges. I'm not sure where the cheapest place is. If you find out, please let me know. :)

Beyond Balance. I'm going to hold off right now on Byron White since it is costly. It sounds like you're on the right path!
