Essential oils for tick repellant

I use it to repell mosquitoes and fleas (I always get bitten in summer when going into town, whenever it's hot and humid). I'm a real bug magnet... Whenever I get bitten by an insect, it starts to swell, itch like crazy and forms blisters, it takes between 1 and 2 weeks to go away. All that disappears when I apply tea tree on it.

Some people react badly on tea tree oil, so you might try it on a small piece of skin first and/or dillute it...

Hi Girlie-

Some of the common ingredients I have seen listed in natural repellants are grapeseed oil, clove, anise, eucalyptus, lavender, lemongrass, rosemary, citronella, and cedarleaf. I don't know that any of them are used specifically for ticks, but just bugs in general.
