Well, after two months of stopping my last ABX after 5 years of treatment, I've started to see a return of some old symptoms, like stiff neck, sore tired leg and arm muscles, and increased brain fog and head pressure. I just finished a 30 day course of Diflucan hoping my last 10% of issues were from Candida.
Between Lyme, Babs, Bart, and Candida its hard to tell what's the cause, or do we just need more time to heal, or is this as good as it will get. I've remained on Cat's Claw, Braggs ASV, Fish Oil, GSE, Olive Leaf Extract, VSL#3 DS, Magnesium, B6, B12, Milk Thistle, and just put in a refill order for silver hydrosol (which I had planned to drop), and keep
open minded on other alternative herbal and other treatments.
Last week I had a small 1/4" dia red rash (almost like a blood blister, but not raised) suddenly appear on my left forearm. I had many of these rashes through-out treatment, but hadn't seen anything new since last Sept.
Then a few days later I got a new spontaneous bruise mark about
the size of a nickel inside my right bicep. No way can you accidently bump into something in that part of your body and not remember. Spontaneous bruising has been an on-going issue thru the peak years of Babs treatment, but I haven't noticed any new marks since last Aug and only a few in the prior year.
So I sent a fax to my LLMD this week to either get re-started on ABX and pull in my next appointment for mid July. She has recommended what she called prescript
ion strength crypto from Infuserve. I had started taking Woodland Essence Crypto a few years back, then added Sida, and when they ran out went to the CSA blend. These had very little impact to my symptoms at the time and I remained cycling thru a few heavy ABX protocols.
I had known that Infuserve was an early supplier of Crypto and theirs was flavored with peppermint, but thought the Woodland product was comparable. Have any of you heard of any quality/strength differences? I'm not sure why a script
is needed for Infuserve, but they are also a compounding pharmacy.
Thoughts?
