Remember, Mike - many say that THC is required for benefits. Obviously, not all agree with this, but it's something to consider. Medical Marijuana just went legal in my state, but of course, it's locked down pretty tight, and we will have to get through all those that are going to try to block it now - but it's a start.
I plan on getting on it one way or another just as soon as it's gone through all of the legal challenges here in state.
I too have been on narcotics for pain for a handful of years. Actually 13 altogether if Darvocet was a narcotic.
So, I will admit on here for the benefit of healing science that I did smoke pot recreationally for about
6-7 years of that 13 years, only on weekends and only probably shared a bowl or two each day of those weekends. Enough to feel sleepy, or giggly, or have the munchies, but never, ever, did I feel any pain relief. In my back or anywhere else.
Everyone has their own tolerances, and thus often get differing reactions to everything, so I can't say it's impossible that it helps with pain, or if it has to be specific kinds of pain, or if it has a placebo affect.
I can just speak for myself.
I was excited about
the idea of medical marijuana for the healing aspect, but I'm not in a position to lay out bunches of money for it without concrete evidence it will work, first.
I do know that the people that put this stuff together are supposed to use specific strains of hemp or whatever, depending on what that strain is targeted to be useful for. Not just any cb oil for any and all issues will work.
