Hi!
I have a question for a dear friend with Lyme (she's not on this forum).
She's been treating for 2 years, kept on working until she got bedridden. She did oral abx and the modified Cowden Protocol.
She has had the following issue for about a year or so, almost constant: her skin feels extremely hot, like it's burning/sunburned, and it also feels hot to the touch (entire body). Her temperature is normal (well, a bit low, like most of us). It doesn't hurt so much, it's the hot feeling that bothers her very much.
During the night, she needs to put ice packs on her body, cause it's too hot to handle. She takes cold showers before going to bed. It's not just a feeling, her bf says she feels like a burning stove.
She did a test: the thermometer showed a higher temperature on the surface of her skin than in her ear.
Can anyone help her with advice? She's detoxing all she can (IV Glutathione several times a week), but her liver is under huge pressure due to an inborn error of metabolism, in combination with Lyme and Bartonella.
Thank you!
