Hi all,
I have been seeing some recent success with Woodland Essence's Cryptolepis in terms of my babesia symptoms. Increased hot flashes, which seem to be my herx symptom, and my air hunger has gotten much better. This is the only thing, herb or prescription, that I'm on for babesia, so I know it is the one that is working.
I was doing some research and found Elk Mountain Herbs. They have Crypto tinctures for the same price as WE but the ratio of their tincture is 1:5 whereas WE ratio is 1:7. I am wondering if anyone has used Elk Mountain and can speak on their credibility. On paper, it seems obvious to go with Elk Mountain because the tinctures are the same price and Elk Mountain's is more concentrated, i.e. more bang for the buck. But I'm hesitant because Buhner recommends using WE for his Crypto tincture. Part of me says, if it isn't broken, don't fix it. But the other part says I can pay the same and cut my dose by about 1/3, essentially saving me 1/3 of the price of the tincture itself if I go with the Elk Mountain version.
What do yall think? Would you continue to go with what you know is working or go with the other brand to save some money and have it potentially not work?
