Is Photophobia common with lyme or a herx?

i know photosensitive and being sensitive to sun exposure is common but more and more lately and right now im experiencing bad Photophobia. Im even in a dark room and the TV and laptop brightness and phone brightness are way done and its still killing my eyes, its been happening more and more lately. IDK if this is common with lyme or a sign of a herx or what?

If you have headache, neck stiffness, fever or a rash that does not disappear when you press a glass on it , along with your severe photophobia please see a doctor urgently - any doctor. This is because these symptoms could indicate meningitis (you don't have to have all of the symptoms).Meningitis can occur in Lyme, even chronically, but there are also the highly dangerous forms such as the meningococcal, so you must act immmediately if you have that combination.

If you just have photophobia and no other new symptoms, meningitis is less likely, but it still makes sense to see a doctor soon, esp as your photophobia sounds quite severe. even if you have no access to a Lyme-literate doc, seeing any doctor will help eliminate various other causes.
