LLMDs in Metro Detroit area

Hello, I'm from Warren, MI. I've had some health problems for the past few years, and I'm starting to become suspicious of whether they could have been caused from a tick that had been attached on my a decade ago. Years ago, after a weekend in a rural area, I woke up with a tick on my head. I was about 10, so I didn't know what to do. My mom ended up sleeping in that day, but around late morning she noticed I had a tick on me, and she helped me remove it. We didn't think anything of it.
However, the past few years, I have had a lot of negative neurological problems, and doctors have had a hard time figuring out the cause. I also have had endocrine and muscle problems, and pains in my face, jaw, left eye, and head. My migraines with aura and the extreme eye pain that I have when reading have been very disruptive to my college studies, and I took a medical leave. I have seen optometrists, ophthalmologists, neurologists, and dentists, yet none of these doctors have helped me. However, chiropractors have helped me by providing supplements for a kidney infection, and a yeast infection in the liver that I have. Do you think these symptoms might be caused by lyme, even though I had the tick about a decade ago?
Can you recommend any LLMD's not too far from Warren, or Sterling Heights, MI?
Also, do you have any suggestions on affording LLMD's? It looks like a lot of them don't accept insurance coverage.

I have heard about Dr. Z in Romeo, though I am concerned because it sounds like a new patient appointment is about $410, and that doesn't even include the cost of tests. Finances have been tough because I spent a lot of money on misdiagnoses and unhelpful medicines and treatments from other doctors as I have been trying to get my health problems figured out these past few years.
I think you said that Dr Z bills insurance companies for blood tests. Do you think some insurance companies cover the cost for the Western blot test? That seems like a pretty important test for diagnosing Lyme, so it would be great to hear if insurances typically cover the cost.

Need4Speed, if you don't mind, can you tell me about your experience w Dr Z? Do you think he is worth the cost? Has he helped you successfully recover from Lyme?

My experience with Dr Z has been good.
He will not hesitate to send you to other people for specific treatment's.
He recommended and sent me off for Ondamed treatments (Go to there website ondamed.net)
As far as me, I am still in Process.
As a whole I am a little better, but as everyone knows here it is a tough battle!
I would highly recommend treating Lyme with many approaches and Detox, Detox, Detox!
