Bad flare last night: Nausea, weakness in legs, and panic

I had a bad flare last night which I assume was Bart.

My legs got really weak and I was having a lot of trouble with stairs. My head was swimming, and I got nauseous.

I went to bed, but I couldn't sleep, and I started panicking and cried out for my dog.

I had to hold onto her for hours.

Then, I had this abnormal fear that there might be ticks on her. I wasn't worried for me; I was worried for her--but basically, it was all part of the flare.

I think I was awake until the birds started singing at dawn.

I never know if what I'm experiencing is a herx or a flare. I drank my CT on Saturday night, but nothing since.

I do know that when I wasn't on any treatments, I had bad Bart and Babs flares, often together.

Things are up and down. I think the really bad flare may have been a herx to plain old Kudzu!

I thought I was doing ok yesterday, and proceeded to prune my apple tree, and then cut my thumb with the clippers.

I had to be seen by the doctor, and now a very small piece of my thumb is gone. Meanwhile, I'm well on the way to my next herx. Do I sound grouchy? Sorry :(

I'm just glad this forum exists.

I'm so sorry Margaret. Isn't it amazing the comfort though that your dog can bring you and how much we feel like we need them?
