Is this syptom - due to blood flow issues...or?

So, my lyme symptoms started April 2013. I started treatment July 2014.

Sometime in 2014 (I believe it was after treatment) - a symptom started. When I roll over to my right side to sleep, if I'm there more than half an hour - when I roll back on to my back, my shoulder hurts and so do my fingers on that side. Also, my right arm is cold...even though it's very warm in our bedroom.

I'm trying to figure out if this is a blood flow issue or a nerve issue.

Regarding blood flow - I do get some venous pooling on the tops of my feet by the end of the day...and the backs of my hands - I have visible blue veins. With the hands, I've also lost the fat and the skin is now thin, so not sure if that's why the blue veins are so visible....

My feet are sore in the morning...I have been thinking it's bart...but maybe all along it's a blood flow issue?

I had a blood clotting test - I think that would show hypercoagulation? Anyway, it was normal.
Also, when I have blood taken at the lab, it's not slow.

I'm hoping that when I go on Rifampin and mino for bart, I will see something improve with this?

I don't get any tingling/numbness in my fingers - so I'm thinking it's not a nerve issue?

I'd say both nerve and blood flow issues.

If you follow the theory, that these guys build plaque in the veins, I would say vascular.

I find that I can only sleep on my right side. If I try sleeping on my left I have major pain. I still end up having numbness in my lower limbs anyway. Most time my whole hand is numb but always a few fingers at least. I move around and sometimes it goes away, but it could be either.

Is it the bottoms of your feet that hurt? That started for me about 3 years ago. When I described it to my Rheumatologist and he said he had never heard of it. Then I started having joint pain. He asked me about dry eyes, and dry mouth which was funny because I had a soda bottle in my hand. He ran tests which all came back negative. He eventually put me on Plaquinel which is when my eye doctor asked me about Lyme.

The pain in the bottoms of my feet went away when i started the plaquinel. I saw that on Dr Burrascano's checklist and assumed is was Babesia because the Plaquenil is an antimalarial.

that's interesting about the feet gkamom - that's usually indicative of bart...but so many symptoms overlap - maybe it is babesia?

happyjo - If it's vascular - would it show up on any blood work?

It's a real annoyance because I already avoid sleeping on my left side - as that is where my first symptoms developed - april 2013 - with excruciating shoulder blade pain, left arm limp and numb and index finger, then frozen shoulder...nerve pain upper left side and arm/hand/finger.
So, then in 2014 - I got the pain in the shoulders - front and top (not blades)....so rolling over on my right side hurts, but what's with the fingers pain (and stiff).

Both hands - my fingers are a little sore and stiff...but when I am on my right side at night, it's really ramped up.

Yes, Mike - I have a lot of nervous system issues.

GH - you can't pick both...lol!
