Change in Treatment... Thoughts?

Hi All,

I am relatively newly diagnosed and have been working with a LLND to get rid of this nasty infection (positive for anaplasma and Lyme). My treatment plan currently consists of Doxy (low dose), Grapefruit seed extract, Lactoferrin, Nystatin, Curcumin, and a few probiotics. My ND mentioned that we started on the low dose Doxy to see if my body can handle it.

Test results look good so we will be kicking it up a notch. She is taking me off Doxy and adding in Minocycline (100mg twice a day) and also adding Alinia. We will be dropping the grapefuit extract as Alinia is meant to be the cyst buster in this case. Anyone had experience with Alinia? My understanding is that it is very expensive in the US and therefore not used all that often.

Also would like your thoughts on my treatment plan, I am new to this thing so any info provided would be appreciated...

I have had Lyme less than 1 year and been showing symptoms for about 3 months. I believe that the Alinia is an anti-biotic that is meant to replace Flagyl.

I am on this plan for next 6 weeks and then we are to re-evaluate. Not quite sure what the plans are going forward, it depends on how I react I guess.
