It's always nice to read that there is some research going into Lyme. Obviously more studies need to be done, but progress is progress.

I do wonder about CNS penetration. Would one need an abx that gets into the brain? Do the persisters sit in the brain protected by the BBB and party it (after turning back into spirochetes) up after the doxy is gone while their comrades below are mowed down by a non CNS abx?

Another issue might be abx's that are used for co infections...be hard to pulse if you are fighting babs or bart...not sure if one can pulse for those.

I plan on using this method as the author is doing...a few days on, a few off.... just to make sure everything is good.

Im on pulse regim. Three days on four off. high dose with ceftin and tetracykline. Ceftin crosses the bbb.
What you want to know if one should also pause killing supplement from buhner. If the herbs also provoke persister.
And if you have bart which divide itself every day. How will pulse work on that.

One strategy is to firdt pulse bb to hell. And then go after co infections.

I almost think stopping everything (other then maybe vitamins) would be best. Would 3 days off a Babs treatment do much long term??? I'm using Art and CSA for Babs so far.

What you want do to when you stop everything that kills is to go for vitamins, probiotics, minerals, and all detox things lika NAC ALA chlorella glutheion and so on

CSA = Cryptolepis, Sida Acuta, Alchornea cordifolia ( I think I spelled the third one incorrectly)

It is in Buhner's protocol for Babesia.

I pulse abx for both Lyme and Bart/Babs. Seems to be working and lots of LLMD's promote this.
It's important to remember that although abx do kill bacteria (or stop reproduction), they also suppress the immune system. Taking breaks allows the immune system to recover and strengthen.

Now when i pulse i also dont take magnesium, zink or eat anything with calsium.... this to optimize abx uptake.... i also try to stimulate blood flow after abx. when i get better... abx days will be some kind of training days.

to get your own immune system to man up is the real issue.... i'm doing loads to support it and i ordered even more stuff like reishi and cordyceps


since i do not eat ice cream anymore i make my own with frozen blueberrys blended with some oat milk

Right now I am pulsing Mino, Tindamax and Omnicef. I am also pulsing Mepron and Artemisinin.
I still take Magnesium Malate, though.
I don't really have any sources other than doctors I have seen.

I am 85-90% sure I have Bart
Yes, I am totally off abx 1 week in a month, and off them every Tues/Thurs/Sat/Sun with the exception of Tindamax on Tues and Thursday, but only during the second week in the month.
