hello, need help regarding tmi topic

I tried to post last night, but didn't get much info.

I am a bit embarrassed about this, esp. seeing as I had to post about the topic twice.

There are eggshell like fragments in my stool.

The stool is dark, and I see distinctly white fragments inside. I googled the topic, but couldn't find anything, except about "round" white objects, and these are not round.

I have been doing the liver flush, and I took about 2 tbsp of activated charcoal one day, but the stool was already dark (green) before I took the charcoal.

The only way I can describe these objects is that they look like pieces of broken eggshell, evenly scattered throughout, but not in huge amounts.

Sorry. Like I said; t his is embarrassing, but I need info.

I was curious, so also googled your symptoms. I found some similar questions from people who were doing liver cleanses or the Master Cleanse. Someone quoted a paragraph from "the ultimate fast" that read:

"Bentonite is the only product known to remove plaque from the walls of the intestine and colon. The plaque in your stool will look like egg shells on the outside of the bentonite gel."..."the plaque has been loosened by the lemon juice/fasting process."

Not sure if this rings any bells for you. Hope you get more responses!

Yeah, I suspected you were probably just doing the charcoal since that's what you listed.

But I thought that maybe since people often use bentonite clay and activated charcoal interchangeably and for similar detox/absorption purposes, perhaps the charcoal was acting in a similar way to the clay. Maybe?

Hey Margaret! Funny thing, I had tan stool with some silver/ white in it. It was pretty eye catching haha!! Poo sure does get talked about alot here!

I wouldn't say mine looked like eggshells... it was more.... smooth? I guess? I think of how you describe eggshells and imagine that it looks sharp and jagged.

My doctor said that that color usually means gallbladder issues. A blocked duct or something else. It can point to a struggling liver I think he said too... Not too sure on that one. I'm surprised that just googling it doesnt shed more light! I tried and came up empty. Dang!

Please let us know how you're doing or if it continues to happen.

Margaret, I'm sorry, but no success in getting an answer... I googled a bit too, but can't find anything... Even googled pictures trying to get some answers. Luckely I'm not blessed with a weak stomach

I don't have an idea what that might be. If it continues you can get a sample and take it to your PCP to have it tested.
Could it be something unusual that you ate? Many years ago I was panicking about my stools and convinced I had a large amount of parasites, seeing something every day in my stools. Then after a couple of weeks I realized that I was eating sprouts on my sandwich every day, and was not chewing them enough. They were passing through me whole.......

When is your gastro appt?

If the eggshell business is still going on I'd recommend trying to get to the bottom of it.

I still struggle with headaches. I got a bad one last night and couldn't fall asleep for like 3 hours. Awful. My next adventure is rubbing frankincense essential oil on my spine. My doctor thinks it's some sort of sinus infection. I already beat mrsa. Who knows what could've survived the dreaded BEG spray!

I take tramadol almost every single day. That works for joint pain, cramps...etc. for headaches I have to take percocet and honestly those don't even take it down more than 30% or so. But it's something. I got a really really bad one last week and was crumpled on the floor and my 3 year old went and told his daddy that I was dead. So sad :( I felt awful. I try not to let my family see that but it's impossible to hide.

My doctor says it's from brain swelling. I tried acetazolomide (diamox) but I got hives every time I took it so I had to stop. He even go eat me steroids to try and get the swelling down and I know that was a tough call for him to make. I took one and it didn't work so I threw them away. No steroids for this girl.

Anyway. I have this prayer that I say when I feel like begging someone to shoot me because I'd rather die than be in that much pain. Which sounds funny when I'm not hurting, but that's why I call them suicide headaches. They seriously make me want to kill myself. It takes a lot of strength not to reach for the gun. I'm not a suicidal person either, I love living. It just hurts that bad I don't care to live anymore.

Thank you.

I say it speaking directly to my body. Like we are separate entities or someyhing. That sounds silly too. But hey, desperate times call for desperate measures. And if saying that prayer gives me a focal point that can't be a bad thing. Thanking my body for surviving is profound in those tough times. Telling my body to forgive me for wanting to kill it is also profound. It's been working for me.

But ya. It's mostly just a wait and hope it goes away quickly kind of thing. The pills help. The prayers help. My dog helps. Meditating and trying to leave my body helps.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page. The answer is to get the stool tested for eggs and parasites.

I don't know if that's a reliable source of information...but I think it's a good idea to get it checked out.

I remember seeing a tincture at the health food store called "Paragone" or "Paragon" -
I think it had black walnut hulls in the tincture...can't remember the rest of the ingredients.

Oh, and wormwood, too.
