I can attest that Spooky2 definitely works on a macbook pro running Virtualbox. I only connect it for a 3-5 minute session a week because of the herx factor so getting a dedicated computer hasn't been necessary for me. If you were running more detox frequencies maybe you'd use it longer though.

The one thing I'd worry about is that netbook screens are tiny and Spooky has a lot of stuff going on visually. There are some Spooky2 forums you could sign up for and search around. Based on what I've seen some people are using 10" screen netbooks but others recommend larger screen laptops. With Netbooks you generally sacrifice a lot for ultra portability, so unless you're planning to travel with it a refurb laptop might be more usable for similar cost.

Yeah as long as you've got a cd drive in the mac you want to use. Otherwise you'd have to transfer it onto a usb flash drive and install from there which can be tricky with XP.

That's good, my macbook don't have one. The Spooky2 was shipped out pretty quickly and I think I got it within a few days.

I used mine last night 2016hz for 2 mins and am starting to feel a bit of herx come on. Definitely give it some time after you use it to see how you feel as the herx tends to be a bit delayed. My worst days are generally 2-4 days afterwards. But Rife definitely vastly improved one of my major symptoms (sleep) almost immediately after using it. No other treatment has had that immediate of an effect for any symptom so I'm curious to see if that's a common occurrence.

One thing I will mention since you're going this route. It seems with VirtualBox each time you connect the Spooky2 generator to the usb port you need to select the Devices->USB menu of VirtualBox and select the Silicon Labs USB to UART bridge controller which was installed with Spooky. If you don't do this the generator doesn't seem to be be found by the Spooky2 software when starting.

I think it depends on your spirochete load and also the specific frequencies used. If you've done a lot of abx you might not have a lot of free swimming Borrelia to begin with. Eventually with regular Rife sessions you get to the point where you can use it much longer with minimal herxing, and it becomes more of a maintenance thing, ie: 1x a month to prevent relapsing from what I've been told.

Also a lot of the Lyme programs have like 10 different frequencies in them so its hard to know which ones are actually doing what exactly. Each frequency then only gets run for 1/10th of the time so they can be less effective. I've just been running one frequency at a time so I can get a sense of how it's working. 2016hz has been identified as the single most powerful frequency for Lyme by a a few people with a lot of experience so until you definitely know your spirochete load is low I'd go slow with it.
