Rifampin/fatigue/joint pain

My wrist hurts so bad I can't move it in the mornings without screaming but it's not swollen. Wondering if the drug is doing it? Also having episodes of such fatigue that I can hardly get through the work day. I see my LD on Monday but the wrist is getting severe. It's been 6 months at the end of the month since I've been on it and I'm ready to be off of it.

Who else got side effects from it?

What have your dose levels been? My son was very slowly increased from 300 - 600 mg a day over the past 5 months, the last 300 mg. was just over this last month. He is herxing pretty badly right now, but should show improvement in a month or two.

Been taking 600 mg everyday but in the beginning I herxed so much for 15 days the LD told me to drop back to 300 for 2 weeks then increase. I think I've been taking it long enough now and just want off it.

As for the fatigue, I am also hypothyroid so who knows if it's that or the rifampin. I will find out in a few days when my blood work comes back. Now today I didn't have fatigue.

I couldn't sleep very well on it the first few months and now I have the fatigue, I guess my body is used to it.
