I too have some pretty serious digestive issues, all due to Neuro Lyme I believe. It's kind of hard when you have several tick-borne infections to understand exactly which infection causes what to not function when some of these have over lapping symptoms. Bartonella is another one that will cause digestive issues too.
Most of us here have high levels of EBV, it's quite common to have viral infections along with these infections especially once you have had them for a while. The infections lower the immune response, so the body can't fight off the viruses very well.
If you haven't yet, please do read through our "New to Lyme? Start here!" thread that sits at the top of the forum. It's packed with helpful and important information for dealing with these infections, including symptom lists and much more.
When I was diagnosed with EBV over 30 years ago, the doctor was shocked and told me that I had to come in right away. When he talked to me, he said that he had never seen titers as high as mine were and that I would be disabled the rest of my life - what neither one of us knew at that point, is that I also was dealing with several tick-borne infections on top of that - but he was right. I never really held a full time job for long again.
